Quintessentially Caribbean, this picturesque resort offers a pristine beachfront location, exquisite dining, water sports and a romantic atmosphere all its own. Set amidst tropical gardens, a picturesque lagoon, a bird sanctuary and a palm-fringed white-sand beach, this exclusive resort boasts comfortable, spacious rooms in a relaxing environment.

  • Effective 14 October 2020, the hotel will be charging a Resort Fee of US$24.00 per room, per night, payable locally at the resort at check-in. The resort fee includes wi-fi service, and is inclusive of any taxes. This Resort Fee applies to all incoming guests, regardless of when the booking was made.

Gauguin Cottage

Situated on the edge of a bird sanctuary lagoon, starting at just 50 yards from the beach each cottage consists of two separate thatched rondovals - one for sleeping - the other a bath/dressing room (shower only, connected by a sheltered breezeway.  The plunge pools are either rectangular or freeform in shape, each on concealed from its neighbor by a combination of the lush tropical vegetation and screens made from natural Spanish heather.  Flanked by paved sun decks and are either step-up or level to the ground.

These rooms are well appointed and spacious, larger that the Superior Beachfront rooms, with walk-in closets, large beach patios with beach shower.  Walk directly onto the beach from the lower level rooms. Second floor rooms have private balconies.

Premium Beachfront Suite

Occupancy limits - 3 adults (3rd person on a roll away)

Largest and most luxurious accommodations feature a bedroom and sunken living room with a wet bar overlooking a spectacular oceanview.  Each suite has its own private balcony/patio situated directly on the beach with his and her showers, basins, separate bathtub. 

 

Premium Beachfront Spa Suite

Largest and most luxurious accommodations feature a bedroom and sunken living room with a wet bar overlooking a spectacular oceanview.  Each suite has its own private balcony/patio situated directly on the beach with his and her showers, basins, separate bathtub.  These suites include daily spa treatments from a selected menu, 45 minute treatments per day included. A spa treatment is included daily excluding the day of arrival and departure (5 per person per 7 night stay). Treatments are non-transferable and are based on a per person usage.

Various Lounges/Bars

Teepee Bar - Cone-shaped, thatched-roof located beachside. This is a favorite gathering place to sip sundowners and watch the sun slip into the Caribbean Sea. Hors d'oeuvres are served in the early evening around 5:30pm.

Lounge Bar - let the soft rhythm of a steel pan band set the mood

Ismay's - Named after a dedicated member of staff, Mrs. Ismay Mason, offers a relaxed menu with the best of Antigua's local flavors.

Sea Grape Restaurant - Beachside dining, serving award-winning, Creole and Euro-Caribbean cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served from a la carte menus.

Gauguin Restaurant - Smaller, more intimate, casual, grill-type fare, located beachside.

In restaurants - Shoes are worn and swim suits are covered.
After 6:30pm:
Dress code - Long pants, stylish jeans, collared shirts, dresses, skirts, dress shoes or dress sandals are permitted. Not allowed - flip flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts, tank tops or sleeveless shirts.
